What does the Vibe Check actually mean?
It’s a science-based summary of how a product’s ingredient list looks given typical usage. Looks Good = low concern. Watch It = a couple of ingredients worth knowing about. Not Your Best Match = ingredients with stronger flags for your context.
Why is GlowCheck different from clean-beauty apps?
Most apps flag ingredients on hazard alone (e.g., 'paraben = bad'). GlowCheck weighs exposure, dose, and context — the way real toxicologists do.
What's in the $4.99 Full Analysis?
The full toxicology breakdown per ingredient, the pregnancy/breastfeeding lens, regulatory cross-references (EU Annex II/III, Prop 65, IFRA), and your personalized exposure context.
How do I unlock on iPhone?
On iOS the unlock is processed through Apple In-App Purchase. On Android and web we use Stripe. Either way it’s a one-time charge per scan unless you start a subscription.
Can I use GlowCheck without an account?
Yes. Guest Mode is the default. Your scans live on your device. Create an account later to save them across devices.
Does GlowCheck replace a doctor?
No. GlowCheck is informational. Always check with your doctor for medical decisions, especially during pregnancy.
